Pros & Cons
- As this oil provides good lubrication in all circumstances, you can use it for dry and wet rides.
- The thin lube penetrates easily into the links of your chain, allowing you to lubricate the chain just before heading off.
- The spout makes it easy to apply the lube to the chain, and prevents spilling.
- Biodegradable!
- As this oil is slightly more likely to attract dirt than other lubricants, you will have to degrease your chain every now and then.

Description
Description
CyclOn Course Lube (All Weather) is an excellent lubricant for your bike parts. It comes in a handy dropper bottle for lubricating chains, derailleurs, shifting systems and cables. As the All Weather Lube has a moisture repellent effect, it provides protection against wear and rust. Moreover, the biodegradable micro-additives in CyclOn's Course Lube help to make your bike parts more supple. The micro-additives penetrate into the smallest blemishes of your chain, ensuring a long lubricating effect, less wear and lower friction resistance.
Use
How to use CyclOn Course Lube:
1. Thoroughly degrease your drivetrain with chain cleaner and rinse off well.
2. Dry the parts well with a cloth.
3. Apply the lube to the centre of the entire chain.
4. Leave to soak in.
5. Wipe off excess lube with a cloth.
6. Hop on your bike and go!
Characteristics
• Repels moisture and provides protection against corrosion.
• Remains effective in high and low temperatures.
• Handy dropper bottle for easy application.
• Minimises friction and, thus, wear; makes your bike parts last longer.
• Is suitable for normal weather conditions.
• Increases suppleness during gear shifting.
• Contains biodegradable micro-additives.
Wet lube is thicker and will not wash off your chain easily after a rain shower, but it does attract more dirt. Dry lube is thinner and, therefore, needs to be applied more frequently. Want to use both? Then remember to degrease your chain before applying the lube.
When and how often should I lubricate my chain?
This is a tricky question as it depends on how much you ride and what kind of lubricant you use. The best thing to do is to check if your chain is dry; this can be seen or heard. Another sign that your chain needs to be relubricated is when it is very dirty, from cycling in the rain for example. Make sure to clean the chain before reapplying lube. Over time you will also learn to feel when it is best to lubricate.
